The event was surprisingly well attended and had a great vibe, I listened to Craig speak and was introduced to him following his talk. When I explained what I did, he suggested I contacted Eurostar International. With the Paralympics fast approaching, he felt sure they would welcome an expert review of their current capabilities regarding staff and facilities. I made the call, mentioned my chat with Craig and his recommendation. A meeting at Eurostar was arranged, and shortly after I was appointed as their diversity and inclusion training provider. My business hasn’t looked back since.
Love Business has helped me become established as a leader in diversity and inclusion training.
Today I remain Eurostar’s provider for diversity and inclusion training. Working with such a well-respected brand definitely opened more doors, and today I’m regarded as one of the UK’s foremost experts for diversity and inclusion training. This can all be traced back to Love Business, the connections I made and the opportunities it created – including East Midlands Trains, who I met at the following years event.

So, what is diversity and inclusion training – and is it just for large organisations?
The short answer is no, if you are a business you will come into contact with people – suppliers, customers, prospects, potential recruits and employees. If you handle a situation wrongly, no matter how well intended, the consequences and penalties can be catastrophic. Brand reputation and public relations are at one end of the scale, but at the other is the possibility of an unlimited fine. Which is why, at Love Business on February 27th, 2019, I’m doing a talk and free one-to-one consultations. |
